Disaster restoration is a growing and profitable industry. €765 million has been paid out by insurers for weather damage to properties in Ireland in 14 months (Figures as of April 12th 2011).

Rainbow International provides restoration and cleaning solutions for fire, smoke and water damage situations and are true experts in their field. Rainbow International, which originates in, the USA is expanding rapidly with 75 new units opening in 2010 alone. The company started franchising in 1981 and now has 391 franchised units across America, Canada, Ireland, Germany and the UK. It is part of the multi-billion dollar Dwyer Corporation and investor group TZP Partners, an operation that supports 1,500 franchises worldwide.

Rainbow International launched in Ireland, in 2004, under the directorship of Keith Spencer, MD, Susan Noon, Financial Director and Patrick Cox, Operations Director. While Rainbow International Ireland offers a nationwide service in the Republic controlled from its Cork based headquarters, it is looking to build on its base by rolling out a franchise model across 12 strategic territories which have been mapped on area demand.

Industry Advantage

Rainbow International adopt the approach to restore where possible which saves time, money and unnecessary disposal. The old style jack-of-all-trades "rip out and replace" approach has been kicked to touch, due to improvements in technology, equipment, procedures and disaster recovery education. Rainbow has challenged the status quo in terms of restoration techniques, which is being embraced by both insurers and customers alike.

Rainbow's Rapid Structural Drying (RSD) is the No. 1 choice for water damage remediation because it dries structures and contents faster. It is the preferred method for insurance companies because it saves time and money and does not require expensive and unnecessary reconstruction. RSD is based on the scientifically proven methods of psychrometrics, otherwise known as the science of drying. RSD is revolutionising the water damage restoration process.

Understanding the Fire Damage Cycle (FDC) is critical to achieving success in fire and smoke damage restoration. The FDC is built on an understanding of acidic residues and permeating odours that form the basis for a successful re-instatement. Rainbow utilises state-of-the-art in-house techniques developed and refined over many years, coupled with specialist equipment and products to restore buildings and contents successfully.

Training & Support

The company has a strong programme of support in place for its franchisees, including full training from IICRC certified trainers in Rainbow's state-of-the-art fire, smoke and water restoration facility in Texas. The training programme is designed around the assumption that trainees have no previous restoration industry experience and ensures they understand and feel comfortable, with all elements of disaster restoration and business.

In addition, new franchisees will benefit from the Rainbow Ireland marketing support training programme, which covers virtually every component of marketing a successful business. New franchisees also receive support and training in operations, health and safety, employment legislation, software training, procedures etc.

With Rainbow's proven concept, franchisees can build a successful business based on systems that have been developed, tested and refined over many years.

We are looking for like-minded individuals with the ambition and enthusiasm to join the Irish Rainbow operation. The initial franchise fee starts from €23,000. For further information, please complete the online form below.
