A Strikingly Good Opportunity
A Little Kickers franchise offers aspiring entrepreneurs a wonderful opportunity to develop a thriving business and work with children.
It is a well established fact that one of the fastest growing sectors within the global franchising industry is the provision of services to children of all ages, particularly in areas like fitness and education. So it should not come as a surprise to learn that Little Kickers has become one of the fastest growing children’s franchises in the UK in recent years. Now the company is rolling out its successful format into the Irish market and is looking for aspiring entrepreneurs to help drive the growth of this company over the next few years.
A Little Kickers franchise is a great opportunity for people who are fed up with the daily grind of an office-based career that really isn’t going anywhere. Apart from the fact that you get to run your own business, you also get the rewarding opportunity of working with children between the ages of 2-5. And of course you get to have some fun too while you still have time for your other domestic commitments.
Attitude, not a background in football, is the all important asset, because step-by-step training is provided from the very outset. If you like space to do your stuff, yet would welcome the ongoing support of a passionate squad of enthusiastic, like-minded go-getters then a Little Kickers franchise could be just the thing for you.
One of the key goals of Little Kickers, is to use football as a fun forum to instil our growing squad with a little extra confidence, co-ordination, control and sense of camaraderie; which we feel will stand them in very good stead for the future.
Guided by the likes of FA qualified coaches, nursery school teachers, child health specialists and pro-active parents, the Little Kickers programme is an ever-evolving quest to teach fundamental football techniques and elementary life skills in a vibrant, group play environment.
Invaluable social skills like listening, sharing, taking turns and teamwork are conscientiously woven into the evolving programme that places as much emphasis on simple learning concepts like colours and numbers as it does on fine-tuning a child’s basic balance, agility and co-ordination.
By playing fun games that include specific actions and movements children gain greater bodily control whilst simultaneously enhancing their blossoming balance, co-ordination and gross motor skills. Aside from learning how to strike stationary and moving footballs during directional play, children and parents also get the early opportunity to share those first unforgettable, goal-scoring adventures.
In essence Little Kickers provides a fun, safe learning environment where your child will be encouraged to move from parent-supported participation, to active, independent interaction.
Existing franchisees have found the business very rewarding. “I left my full-time position as an Account Manager to buy a Little Kickers franchise and did this in order to take greater control of my life. The franchise has given me a much better work-life balance and is definitely a decision I'm glad I made. At times, it's a rollercoaster, however the overall experience to date has been very rewarding,” says Steve Finn one of the company’s UK franchisees. The company’s first franchisee Julia Levene in London hasn’t looked back either. “I was Little Kickers' very first franchisee joining in 2004 and my life has been completely transformed. I have a work / life balance now, walking my children to school each morning and picking them up every afternoon. Initially, I opened 4 classes and with hard work and dedication have now expanded to over 20 classes a week and the feedback that I get from the children and parents is wonderful,” she says.
In Ireland, Niamh O’Connor became Little Kickers second Irish franchisee and now spearheads its Irish development plans from her South Dublin base.
“I have always harboured ambitions about running my own business but if you have children it’s not always possible. With a Little Kickers franchise, however, I have been able to realise this ambition, earn a comfortable living and still be able to have plenty of time with my family,” she says. “It’s a great business to be and there is enormous potential to grow it,” she says.
